Four “super-vets” from Wivey Tennis Club beat the home side, Minehead, in their first match of the season, with a return fixture at home scheduled for June 29.Paul Cowling, Mary Hughes, Jeremy Toye and Helena Trump racked up 38 games to Minehead’s 30 in what is becoming a regular friendly clash between the two clubs.
